Overgrown bank to a tiered stone terrace

This side yard ran straight into an overgrown bank of brush and scrub. We cleared it, cut the slope back with an excavator, and set a gravel base with drain pipe behind the wall so water has somewhere to go. Finished as a curved tiered retaining wall with lights built into the steps and a paver patio in the middle.

Bare slope to a full lawn

The bank in front of this house was packed dirt and washout. We graded it, prepped the soil, and put down sod. Ten weeks later it had knitted together into a lawn you would never guess had been dirt.

Dirt drive to a paver driveway

Day one: a bare dirt drive marked out in survey paint with pallets of brick waiting on the shoulder. Then base prep — screeding sand flat before a single paver goes down, which is the step that decides whether a driveway stays level. Finished as a full brick paver driveway from the road to the house, yard graded and grassed in on both sides.
